Drawing & Watercolour Painting with Home-Work
We will guide you through some watercolour basics including what materials to use, how to mix colours and developing your own style within the medium. This class is aimed at beginners who want to start their watercolour and drawing journey.
Students will paint their own colour wheel as well as learn about types of watercolour paint, papers and brushes.
Paint from inspiring still life arrangements using the Home-Work studio props.
Each student will be provided with a palette of paints to use in class and take home, as well as their very own artworks to frame!
When: Saturday the 8th July – Class runs from 10am ’til 1pm.
Where: The workshop is held in our Brunswick studio. We are located at the rear of 18-20 Michael Street, Brunswick. Please note that entry is from the Dawson st side of the warehouse, opposite the Brunswick Baths (next door to Howler Bar).
What to bring: No experience necessary, all materials are provided, all you need to do is bring yourself and lunch/ snacks for the day. Some optional items to bring are coloured pencils, any watercolour brushes you have at home and a notebook and pen.
*Please note – refunds on workshop bookings are not available, however if you can’t attend the class you are more than welcome to send someone in your place!
