aka Lara Davies & Jess Wright

Creative duo Lara Davies & Jess Wright have been working as textile designers and screen printing teachers all over the world for the past decade. In 2018, the pair published the popular how-to screen printing book Print Play with Hardie Grant. Home-Work are known for their fun, inclusive and inspiring workshops and events. As well as workshops, Home-Work have delivered and marketed numerous craft markets, exhibitions, design collaborations and corporate events. Art Camp NZ follows the wildly popular sold out event, Art Camp 2019. We think this Art Camp will be even better!

Evie Kemp

Evie is a legendary Auckland based designer and artist with a passion for textiles. Her work branches across the areas of art, design, styling, interiors, fashion and lifestyle, bringing fresh and exciting ideas to life with her distinctive style and approach.Combining skills in traditional production with a passion for communicating and social media, Evie's projects are unexpected and unforgettable. She regularly works both independently, and with brands, to create something completely different - from textile design, prop making and sourcing, interior design and styling, to content creation and communication. Evie is known for her non-traditional rug hooking techniques in her artworks and homewares.

Rachel Savage

We are welcoming our dream chef, Rachel Savage, back for her second Art Camp! Rachel wowed all the campers at our first Art Camp so we are thrilled she'll be joining us for Art Camp NZ. Food genius Rachel Savage has been creating mouth-watering, instagramma­ble delicacies for years! Her photogenic treats have been featured in countless magazines. Rachel is inspired by beauty, classic flavours and what's currently growing in the garden. Based on a beautiful farm on the coast of New Zealand, Rachel won't have to travel far to feed us!

Fleur Woods

Fleur Woods is a contemporary stitch artist based in Upper Moutere, New Zealand. Her work is represented by Greenhouse Interiors in Australia and collected around the world. Described as 'stitched paintings' this unique combination of painted linen, illustration & stitch celebrates flora. Fleur comes to embroidery as a mixed media artist, developing her authentic process through years of experimentation in the studio. Over the past 3 years she's been sharing her process around NZ & Australia in sold out workshops. When you participate in one of Fleur's stitching workshops you get access to all of her best tips & tricks, her favourite tools and so much support to set your creativity free. We can't wait to see Fleur's magic in action!

Rose Miller

After a long career as a graphic designer, Rose and her partner now run their creative businesses from their turn-of the-century cottage in central Wellington, NZ. Dave is an exhibiting artist, and Rose is a graphic designer and owner of iconic online store Mooma. When she’s not sending out orders or whizzing up new brands, she’s tending to her sourdough starter and hunting for new vinyl for her record collection.

Ruby Jones

Ruby Jones is a Wellington-based artist and writer whose messages of hope and kindness captured the zeitgeist and gained worldwide attention after the March 2019 Christchurch terrorist attacks, when she shared her illustration featuring two women embracing, penned with the words ‘This is your home and you should have been safe here.’ A few days on from the attacks, Ruby was asked to illustrate a cover for Time Magazine. Since then, her work has been shared widely and has appeared online with Buzzfeed, i-D, Vogue, Marie Claire and Nadia magazine.She has recently released her first book, "All of This is for You" published by Penguin Books.
